Hey there friends! This week marks the 6th birthday of Hustle + Heart Salon, a journey filled with triumphs over skepticism. 

Reflecting on the doubters who once said, “Good luck opening a salon, you will hate it,” and the whispers claiming, “You will never be able to do that where we live,” I’ve turned those challenges into successes. 

From skepticism to success, I’ve proven that passion and perseverance can overcome doubt. For those chasing their dreams amidst skepticism, here are a few tips on how to block out the noise:

1. Party with Self-Belief:

Throw on your confidence crown and believe in your talents. When you’re your own biggest cheerleader, doubts can’t crash your celebration.

2. Surround Yourself with Dream Supporters:

Build a squad of dream-chasers who sprinkle positivity like confetti. They’ll be your hype crew, drowning out the negativity.

3. Celebrate Imperfect Wins:

Life’s a party, not a perfection contest. Dance to the beat of your progress, and celebrate every funky, imperfect win along the way.

4. Turn Criticism into Disco Lights:

Shine bright by learning from criticism. Use it as your own disco light, guiding you to even more fabulous successes.

To anyone chasing their dreams, remember: if it’s your passion, block out the noise and pursue it relentlessly. Dreams are meant to be lived!  Here’s to six years of My Hustle + Heart, and to many more years of turning skepticism into success!
